TAI CHI CHUAN CERTIFICATION by TCSociety

TCSociety offers certifications to its members as recognition of ability in Tai Chi Chuan and ability to teach Tai Chi Chuan. Devotion to promote Tai Chi with other members in TCSociety is the basic requirement.

Members of TCSociety may take qualification test to obtain certificates. Participants in this program must agree on sharing – knowledge, experiences, students, profits and willingness to help and backup each other as a group.

Instructors in TCSociety are formed with three levels – Teaching Assistant I, Teaching Assistant II and Leader:

Teaching Assistant I (TAI)

Teaching Assistant I (TAI), must be able to demonstrate and explain the application of Section 1 of Tai Chi form.

TAI is given opportunities to assist in group lessons under the guidance of Leaders. TAI can build up skills and confidence from this training. It is a privilege of a qualified student.

Teaching Assistant II (TAII)

Teaching Assistant II (TAII), must be able to demonstrate and explain the application of Section 1 & 2 of Tai Chi form

TAII is given opportunities to assist in group lessons under the guidance of Leaders. TAII can build up skills and confidence from this training. It is a privilege of a qualified student.

TAII may lead classes with leaders permission.

Leader

Leader, must be able to demonstrate and explain the application of Section 1, 2, & 3 of Tai Chi form.

Leader is given opportunity to form new group lessons under the guidance of TC Hou. Students in a new group must be allowed to join the practice of other groups. New group must be open to any students from other groups.

Leader is rewarded with up to fifty percent of the tuition of the group. TC Hou decides the percentage case by case. Leader will receive special training from TC Hou.
